What makes MTEC different from a traditional record label?

MTEC gives you many of the same professional services that a record label provides—artist development, music production, release planning, marketing and PR—but without asking you to sign away ownership of your music. You stay in control of your career and choose only the support you need.

Do I keep ownership of my music?

Yes. Unless we agree something different in writing, you keep ownership of your songs and recordings. MTEC doesn't take your masters or publishing rights simply because you've used our services.

Do I have to sign a long-term contract?

No. Most services are available on a monthly subscription or as one-off projects. There are no long-term recording contracts, and you can choose the level of support that's right for you.

I'm just starting out. Can MTEC still help me?

Absolutely. Many artists begin with a great song but don't know what to do next. MTEC is designed to support artists at every stage—from first releases through to building a long-term career.

Can I choose only the services I need?

Yes. You can join one of the monthly production subscriptions or simply book individual services such as mixing, mastering, release planning, EPK creation or a Release Campaign. You don't pay for services you don't need.

Can you guarantee streams, playlist placements or radio play?

No. No genuine music professional can guarantee those outcomes. What MTEC does guarantee is a professional strategy, careful planning, targeted promotion and ongoing support to give your release the best possible opportunity to succeed.

How does the monthly subscription work?

Your subscription gives you ongoing production support throughout the month. Depending on the package you choose, this may include song arrangement, vocal editing, mixing, mastering, mentoring and release planning. Marketing and PR can either be added as required or included within selected plans.

I don't have a big budget. Can I still work with you?

Yes. One of the reasons MTEC was created was to make professional artist support more accessible to independent musicians. We'll discuss your goals during a Discovery Call and recommend a level of support that matches both your ambitions and your budget.
